Runway's delivery specs, line by line
Runway's developer pages reach 4K by upscaling rather than generation, convert frame rate after the fact to targets from 23.98 to 120, and print HDR10 metadata with ProRes and OpenEXR deliveries. Frame shape and length are left without a figure, and paid plans list no watermarks. From 5 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
1What the sheet already carries
Seven readings of the vendor's pages — among them the two lines it leaves empty — then three figures from the references the sheet reads a delivery against.

- Enhance frame rate endpointEnhance frame rate converts a video to 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60 or 120 fps, or 23.98, 29.97 or 59.94
- HDR and high bit-depth (Gen-4.5 only)Gen-4.5 renders true HDR graded into BT.2020 with HDR10 metadata; HDR10, HLG, 12-bit PQ master, ProRes and OpenEXR deliveries
- Professional and HDR output formats10-bit SDR Rec.709 masters and ProRes containers on Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0

2The lines this vendor fills
Runway's developer pages carry the longest finishing list of any vendor this sheet reads. Maximum resolution is 4K by upscaling on paid plans, and the wording says which step reaches it, so the figure is filed as an upscale rather than as generated output. Frame rate is not a generation setting here: an enhance step converts a finished video to 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60 or 120 fps, or to the fractional rates 23.98, 29.97 and 59.94.
Colour is where the pages are most specific. Gen-4.5 renders true HDR graded into BT.2020 with HDR10 metadata, and the outputs named are HDR10, HLG, a 12-bit PQ master, ProRes and OpenEXR, with 10-bit Rec.709 masters for material headed for a grade. Marks are stated in one line: no watermarks on paid plans.
3The two lines left without a figure
Frame shape and longest single output are read and not printed, which on this sheet is a recorded state rather than an omission: the line carries its empty wording and the date it was checked. Neither an estimate from a similar model nor a figure from another vendor's page is allowed into the cell.
For a delivery that is the practical gap. A programme's frame shape is normally fixed before anything is generated, and a per-generation ceiling decides how much of an episode arrives in one piece. Both are questions to put to the vendor, and the sheet's answer is the same as its method page's: a line without a figure is left empty, and the empty wording travels into the CSV with everything else.
4What the HDR line is read against
The television references the sheet keeps give the HDR line something to land on. BT.2020 sets the parameter values for ultra-high-definition television; BT.2100 sets the image parameters for high dynamic range television, and the vendor's wording names neither standard directly but the metadata does — an HDR10 signal is read against those two.
Frame rate has its own reference: the upload guidance the sheet keeps names 24, 25, 30, 48, 50 and 60 as ordinary rates and asks for the rate the material was recorded at. A conversion step that offers all of them, fractional rates included, keeps a generated picture inside that list rather than beside it.
5What the counted material keeps
The collection keeps one share figure for Runway: 1.4% of the posts it read in one subreddit name the family, and since no post total was recorded for it, that cell reads as not carried rather than as a nought. The two quotations beside it are about the plan side of the product rather than the picture — whether signing up leaves a bad taste, and whether a discounted annual term pays off.
Neither line is a spec, and the sheet does not treat them as one. SceneMixer's row in the table below is quoted the same way as the vendor rows above it, with its date attached: the resolution a project renders at follows the tier chosen for it, which is the arrangement a delivered episode meets at the end.
6What each vendor prints on its own pages
| Vendor | What it is built around | Finishing it prints | Audio it prints | Pages checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Runway | Its Gen-4.5 model plus other video and image models, an agentic creative collaborator and editing | 4K upscaling; HDR, ProRes and image sequences on Max | Music, voice and sound-effect generation; custom voice clones from Pro | 2026-10-13 |
| SceneMixer | “On this site it is the 720P tier of the family; the storyboard, references and voices are the same as on the other two tiers.” | Not carried on the pages read | Not carried on the pages read | 2026-10-13 |
Inclusion rule. Rows are the vendors this page is about, each read on its own public pages, plus the production app whose spec lines this sheet keeps. A field a vendor's page does not carry is written here as not carried on the pages read, which describes the reading rather than the product. Order. Alphabetical by vendor name.
| Asked of each reading | Runway | Google Veo | SceneMixer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Highest resolution | 4K by upscaling on paid plans | 720p, 1080p or 4k generated directly | Set by the tier; the tier table lists 480P as the default, then 720P and 1080P |
| Frame rate | 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60 or 120 fps, converted after generation | 24fps output | No figure on the readings printed |
| HDR and bit depth | HDR10 metadata graded into BT.2020; ProRes and OpenEXR deliveries | No figure on the readings printed | No figure on the readings printed |
| Marks on the file | No watermarks on paid plans | A SynthID watermark that can be verified | A corner badge and AI-generated-content metadata |
Inclusion rule. Answers read from each vendor's own pages as this sheet recorded them — the vendor pages on 2026-10-13, the sheet's readings on 2026-09-25. A line the pages do not print is written here as no figure, which describes the reading rather than the product. Order. As the lines are listed above.
7What the collection counted up
A single share figure is kept for the family on this page, with the two quotations placed beside it. Neither one is a measurement of a file.
| Model family | Share of posts | Posts counted |
|---|---|---|
| Runway | 1.4% | Not carried on the pages read |
Inclusion rule. Model families the collection put a share against, counted from the posts it read. Order. Descending by share.

8When another vendor's pages answer better
- The rate is fixed by the rest of the schedule — A conversion step offers every ordinary rate from 24 to 120 fps and the fractional ones, which suits a programme fitted into a strand that already has a frame rate.
- An HDR master is asked for at delivery — HDR10 metadata, a 12-bit PQ master and ProRes or OpenEXR deliveries are printed together, which is the form a master is usually requested in.
- The 4K step is understood before the shoot — The upscale wording puts the resolution figure on the finishing side, which suits a plan that grades and masters after generation.
The search behind this page is "veo 3 free"; the share figure below belongs to the family this page is about, not to that search. Beside it: specs printed per model tier and a sheet where every line is filled.
