1Where the two sheets part

Both print HDR and both remove the watermark on paid plans. The differences are in how the picture is made: LTX generates 4K at 24, 25, 48 or 50 fps, while Runway reaches 4K by upscaling and changes frame rate with a separate conversion step.

Maximum resolution

LTX Studio: Up to 4K on LTX-2.5, Fast and Pro, in portrait and landscape (3840x2160 landscape). Runway: 4K by upscaling on paid plans.

Frame rate

LTX Studio: 24, 25, 48 or 50 fps at every LTX-2.5 resolution. Runway: Enhance frame rate converts a video to 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60 or 120 fps, or 23.98, 29.97 or 59.94.

HDR and bit depth

LTX Studio: Native HDR footage, with EXR named for finishing. Runway: Gen-4.5 renders true HDR graded into BT.2020 with HDR10 metadata; HDR10, HLG, 12-bit PQ master, ProRes and OpenEXR deliveries.

Watermark on output

LTX Studio: No watermarking on paid Studio plans. Runway: No watermarks on paid plans.
