Inclusion rule. All twenty-nine tools on the sheet; a tool that prints nothing on this line shows no figure. Order. Alphabetical by tool name.
1What the line records
The resolution line records the highest output resolution a vendor prints, with the model, plan or step it belongs to. Every tool on the sheet prints one, because printing one is part of the rule for being on it. Ten stop at 1080p, four at 720p and one prints 2K; fourteen print 4K somewhere.
The 4K figures split three ways. Six vendors describe 4K as generated by the model; five reach it by upscaling or by exporting from an editor; three print 4K without saying how. For a broadcast master the difference matters, because an upscaled frame has no more detail than its source.
